Vineyards at Pine Lake

COLUMBIANA, Ohio — Joe Glista, owner of The Vineyards at Pine Lake, says that wine has always been a passion in his family. “It’s a family-owned operation. Each one of my family members is involved in one way or another. When this property became available, we decided to take a chance on it,” said Glista.

The Vineyards currently offer 15 wines, with three new ones to be released in the future. Sweet wines that are familiar in Ohio as well as dry classics are available at the winery.

The vineyards themselves are harvested every season and the new upcoming wines will feature an estate red and estate white blend, which will become a winery specialty. Glista and his family bottle every wine made on their own property. An event room is also available for booking.

“I think the wine trail is going to be pretty popular. I recently did the trail myself, and it was a lot of fun because it took us to places we’ve never been before,” said Glista. “We met a lot of great people. All of the owners are all excited to have you, they’re passionate about what they do, and they get to share with you their unique creations.”
