VLT Betting Totals $111M at Austintown Racino

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Wagers on video lottery terminals at Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course totaled $111.37 million in October, the Ohio Lottery Commission reported Monday. 

Total VLT wagers were up more than $2 million from the $109.19 million reported for September and up more than $15 million from the $96.22 million wagered in October 2018, according to online reports. Wagers have exceeded $100 million for nine consecutive months at the Austintown racino. 

Winnings in October totaled $98.88 million, down slightly from $96.92 million the month before, but up from $85.07 million in October 2018. 

Penn National Gaming Inc., which operates the racino, received $7.19 million for the month, compared with $6.91 million the month before and $6.51 million in October 2018. 

The lottery commission received $3.65 million last month, up from $3.5 million in September and $3.3 million in October 2018
