W3 Q1 Market Update | The Cautious Investor
WARREN, Ohio — So far in 2022, “there’s nowhere to hide so far in the financial markets,” says Ryan Glinn, financial adviser with W3 Wealth Management.
Bonds are down 2% and the major indices like the Nasdaq and S&P are in “correction territory” or near it. The latter gets a lot of attention and can create angst and anxiety, Glinn says.
But corrections are normal, Glinn assures viewers in the latest installment of The Cautious Investor. Glinn offers some insight into the market in the first quarter.
“We tend to get them on average once per year believe it or not,” Glinn says. “I think the reality is we’ve been a little bit spoiled. We haven’t had a correction since March 2020.
“On the back of that downturn, we actually had the quickest recovery ever, which was about 128 trading days.”
