Warren-Trumbull Library to Add Pop-Up Services
WARREN, Ohio – The Warren-Trumbull County Public Library plans to expand literacy outreach initiatives and establish a new “maker space” at its Warren branch.
Taking the library into the community is the major goal of the library’s Pop-Up Library initiative this year, says Kimberly Garrett, deputy director. Pop-Up Library services will reach young people and families who may not have the opportunity to use the traditional library.
The new Maker Studio is set to open at the Warren Library in the next few months. Plans for the space began in 2023 when the library received a $25,000 grant from the Trumbull 100 through a gift from the Bland family.
The library system has branches in Brookfield, Cortland, Howland, Liberty, Lordstown, and Warren; a bookmobile; and library-by-mail service.
