Webinar Rewind | Restaurant Revitalization Fund
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — Restaurants and bars were among the hardest hit business sectors during the pandemic. to help them recover, the U.S. Small Business Administration introduced the Restaurant Revitalization Fund to provide emergency assistance for eligible, qualifying businesses that suffered revenue losses related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In a webinar on May 11, representatives from Apple Growth Partners, Akron, and HD Davis CPAs, Youngstown, discussed how program participants can spend, track and optimize their success with the SBA Restaurant Revitalization fund.
HD Davis’ Tim Petrey was joined by Kristy Angerstien and Charles Mullen of Apple Growth Partners for the webinar. Topics included discussing eligible expenses for the grant money. The coverage period runs from Feb. 15, 2020, to March 11, 2023, Angerstien said.
Other topics discussed include post-application reporting requirements, matters of taxation, and how the fund interplays with the Paycheck Protection Program, or PPP, and the Employee Retention Tax Credit, or ERTC.
