Westminster Signs Five-Year Deal with Nike, BSN Sports
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Westminster College announced has established a new athletic partnership with Nike and BSN Sports.
Through this partnership announced earlier this month, BSN Sports will serve as the official apparel and equipment provider to the Titan Athletic program, while outfitting the college’s athletes, coaches and community members in Nike products.
The partnership, which extends over the next five years, will be across the Titan Athletic program’s 22 NCAA Division III men’s and women’s teams competing within the Presidents’ Athletic Conference.
“[This] announcement of a long-term partnership with BSN Sports is a testament to the history of success and tradition of Westminster Titan Athletics,” said Westminster Director of Athletics Jason Lener.
“To don the world-renowned Nike swoosh on Titan apparel ensures our student-athletes will wear the highest quality sports gear to maximize their performances. This agreement with BSN and Nike is a bold step that aligns with our commitment to championship athletics. I am excited for our coaches, current student-athletes and future recruits.”
Westminster will benefit from access to BSN Sports’ line of campus branding products featuring exclusive Nike branding designs and customizable online fanwear shops for the Titan community.
The partnership aids in recruiting, said Kevin Siroki, head men’s basketball coach.
“Our recruits ask us all the time what apparel and shoe company we deal with,” he said. “This will help us in the recruiting of student-athletes. I am excited to see what the future holds for Titan Athletics.”
BSN Sports will stay connected with the daily needs of the coaches, administrators and Westminster community.
“The Westminster community will benefit from BSN Sports’ expansive resources including program branding products, our team of sport category experts and leading purchasing support teams to keep Titan athletes at the top of their game,” said Todd Northrop, vice president of BSN Sports’ Collegiate Select Program.
