Wheatland Steel Adds Slitter, 300-ton Press
HERMITAGE, Pa. – Wheatland Steel Processing “has always been a growing company,” says President Tim Jablon. “Last year we added a Pro-Eco 60-inch slitter to complement our 72-inch 60,000 machine. And we added a 300-ton press with state-of-the-art servo feed.”
No job is too big or too small for the company’s machines, he says. “We can do just about anything with steel. Cut, stamp, shear, level, bend, laser, slit and weld — from our 600-ton presses to our high-speed 150-ton press.”
Wheatland Steel is also known for slitting steel for the racking industry. “We also cut up material for the power metal industry,” Jablon says.
