Whitman Gives Spartan Stadium a $40,000 Boost
BOARDMAN, Ohio — Completion of a construction project at Spartan Stadium is one step closer thanks to a $40,000 donation from Chuck Whitman, president of CTW Development Corp.
“As we see the dirt moving again at the stadium entrance, some major donations are starting to roll in once again,” said Bruce Flyak, president of the Boardman Booster Club. “We want to thank Valley developer Chuck Whitman, who has just donated $40,000 to the Stadium Project.”
Construction work at the stadium this year will include an expansion of the concession plaza and walkway, two new ticket booths, entrance upgrades, placement of donor bricks and donor plaques. To date, the Boardman Booster Club and its supporters have donated over $3 million to the project.
Whitman, a 1972 graduate of Boardman High School, will be recognized through sponsorship of one of the new ticket booths.
“Chuck has been a great supporter of the Boardman Booster Club and Boardman Schools for many years and his latest donation will be recognized with signage on a newly constructed ticket booth at Spartan Stadium,” Flyak said.
Other advertising/sponsorship opportunities include the other ticket booth, as well as half-sized lockers in the new locker room for $750 each, he said. For more information, visit BoardmanBoosters.org or email [email protected].
