Why the Markets Do What They Do

The uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in a highly unstable market. Jonathan Lapine of W3 Wealth Management in Warren says the uncertainty has created some of the fastest moving markets we’ve ever seen.

“From March 9-18 we had eight consecutive market days of 5% or greater swings,” Lapine says. “A good rule of thumb is that markets hate uncertainty even more than they hate bad news.”
