Wilk Family Makes Donation to Support New SRMC Facility

SALEM, Ohio – The lobby at the new SRMC Surgery & Outpatient Pavilion at Firestone Farms TownCenter in Columbiana is now named The R.F. Wilk Family Pavilion Lobby.

The Wilk family secured the naming rights through a “significant donation” to support Salem Regional Medical Center’s new facility.

“The R.F. Wilk family has been a longtime supporter of our hospital,” said Amy Reed, director of the SRMC Foundation. “We are extremely grateful for the family’s generosity and continued commitment to ensuring our patients have local access to enhanced facilities and the latest medical technology.”

The Wilk family also made a gift to secure the naming rights to the facility’s shared conference room, which will be named in honor of Kathleen Rae Wilk.

“Serving on Salem Regional Medical Center’s Board of Directors for several years gave me a better understanding of the complexity and inherent costs of guiding an expanding regional hospital,” said Richard “Dick” Wilk. “Residents within the tri-state area are very fortunate to have SRMC with its excellent medical staff, and our family is proud to help further the hospital’s mission of providing advanced health care services to its patients.”
