WRTA to Resume Fixed Routes May 18
YOUNGTOWN, Ohio – Western Reserve Transit Authority will resume its fixed-route service May 18, which have been suspended for more than a month due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Normal schedules for all lines will resume, except for the Nightline routes, which will leave from Federal Station in downtown Youngstown at 7:15 and 8:30 p.m. The later routes for the Nightline service will not resume at this time.
On all buses, all passengers must wear face coverings and, with the exception of those in wheelchairs or with baby strollers, must enter through a bus’ back door. Social distancing for seating will be enforced.
Only necessary trips will be allowed. All riders must have a destination and get off the bus when they arrive. No recreational or continuous riding will be permitted.
Federal Station will be closed, though buses will arrive and depart from the back of the building.
