YBI Hosts Seminar on Blockchain Technologies
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown Business Incubator will host Cleveland-based business accelerator and micro-venture capitalist firm Flashstarts March 6 for a seminar on blockchain technologies.
The Around the Block series, which is making stops across northeastern Ohio through mid-March, will explain the basics of blockchain technologies and how it can be used in business.
Flashstarts was among the partners in the Blockland conference in Cleveland in early December.
“Blockchain and Blockland present a once-a-generation opportunity to transform our region,” said Charles Stack, Flashstarts CEO, in a release. “We largely missed previous technology waves and as a result have fallen behind other cities in job creation and economic development. Let’s not miss this one.”
The Youngstown Around the Block seminar will be held at 2 p.m. March 6 at the YBI offices in downtown Youngstown.
Other events will be held Feb. 26 at the Kent State University Library at 5 p.m. and the Bounce Innovation Hub in Akron at 5 p.m. March 13.
Event details and registration for Around the Block is available at Flashstarts.com/infosessions.
