YBPW to Honor Catinella as ‘Woman of the Year’

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The Youngstown Business & Professional Women club will honor the Rev. Gayle Catinella, rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church, as its “Woman of the Year” Oct. 15 at the Lake Club. The dinner event takes place in conjunction with National Business Women’s Week.

Catinella came to St. John’s in May 2014. She is an active member of the Rotary Club of Youngstown and has fostered partnerships with other churches and denominations, arts and culture organizations and civic groups, according to the announcement of her selection.

“We are excited to celebrate Gayle’s impact on our community. Gayle is a convener, a doer, a listener and a visionary and couldn’t be a better role model for other women in our community,” says Rebecca Davis, president of Youngstown Business & Professional Women.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Dr. Anne McMahon Scholarship Award, which is present to a female student pursuing her education at Youngstown State University. Tickets cost $55. To make reservations, contact Rene Butler, YBPW first vice president, at ybpwboard2@gmail.com.
