Yellow Brick Place to Hold Grand Opening, 5K Run/Walk

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Yellow Brick Place Cancer Wellness Center will hold grand opening festivities at the Brandywine Plaza on Sept. 12. The followiing day, a 5K Color run/walk will take place to raise funds and awareness for cancer wellness.

Yellow Brick Place, founded by cancer survivors Donna Detwiler of North Lima and Anna Aey of Canfield, supports and educates cancer patients and those closest to them by providing individual and group services throughout Mahoning, Trumbull and Columbiana counties. Yellow Brick Place also provides a hopeful environment for cancer patients, families and caregivers. All services are free of charge and are non-medical.

The grand-opening ceremonies will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the run/walk the following day will take place from 8 a.m. to noon.
