Workplace Wellness Roundtable Aug. 14 at YMCA
YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – The YMCA of Youngstown will host a roundtable discussion about the workplace wellness issues that local businesses face. The free session begins at 7:30 a.m. Aug. 14 at the Central YMCA downtown.
The roundtable will begin with presentations from YMCA President Thomas Gasce, hChoices’ Steve Pelton and Mark Clendenin, northeast regional business development manager for the Ohio Bureau of Workers Compensation. A group discussion will follow.
The event also includes remarks by state Sen. Joe Schiavoni.
“Our Y is uniquely positioned to help businesses in our community grow,” said Kevin Ruse, director of health care and business development, in a release. “We’re helping employees regain control of their own health and we’re working with employers to help them curtail skyrocketing health care premiums and safety claims.”
