898 Marketing Adds Clients, Earns Awards
CANFIELD, Ohio – In 2021, 898 Marketing added clients, increased sales, and picked up some hardware along the way.
The Canfield-based agency had a 100% retention rate among clients for which it served as the agency of record. It also added clients, enlarging the business by more than 40% over 2021, according to Jeff Ryznar, company president.
Ryznar attributes the growth to his company’s culture.
“Growth is more than what is seen in the awards we won or the work we do. It’s more than a bottom line on a balance sheet or more than 40% growth in both clients and revenue,” Ryznar says. “The way our culture was able to develop team members, give back to our community and embrace our commitment to stay true to our core values … were the real growth stories for our team and why we were able to make the impact we did in 2021 for our clients.”
In February, the agency was recognized by the American Advertising Federation-Akron for an information campaign it created for television and social media that featured children giving pandemic health and safety tips. The award was the first regional recognition for 898 Marketing.
In April, 898 Marketing received the United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley’s Community Impact Award.
The agency employs 21. Last year it had eight interns in three classes, Ryznar says.
This year, 898 Marketing plans to add full-time employees to focus on content development and social media management.
The firm is a full-service marketing agency. It offers video production, creative design, social media, content development, website design, programmatic digital buying, traditional media buying and more.
