YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio – Brain Gain 2022 officially launches this month with new content.
We’re updating the Brain Gain homepage at BusinessJournalDaily.com/BrainGainYoungstown to give it a fresh look. Top stories will be prominently featured, along with direct links to a newly designed Brain Gain Resources page, our Brain Gain Navigators content, and a new financial literacy video series hosted by Farmers National Bank.
Resources are compiled and organized to give students, jobseekers and business owners a single location to find what they need. Whether you need training for a new job or to advance your career, need a local partner to help develop your workforce, or need assistance to get your business off the ground, check our Resources page for a comprehensive list that will be continually updated.
Navigators returns with an expanded focus as we target our virtual career exploration series to adult job-seekers as well as students. We’ll introduce viewers to the men and women working the in-demand jobs that are available in our backyard, particularly modern manufacturing careers and Industry 4.0.
Also new for 2022 is Farmers Financial Focus, which will spotlight expert insights from executives at Farmers National Bank. Topics will range from financial literacy to commercial lending to how to write a business plan.
Editorial coverage will continue to focus on the key goals of Brain Gain: workforce development and building a culture of entrepreneurship. Our reporters will be exploring best practices on relevant topics throughout the year.
Other new content coming this year will include profiles of minority and youth entrepreneurs and updates on how entrepreneurship is being cultivated at area business incubators.
The Business Journal will also explore the changing nature of work, share the latest innovations in technology for improving workplace efficiency and explore the barriers that keep residents from working in jobs that pay well
