New York Investor Pays $2M For Austintown Plaza Site

AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – A single parcel and multi-tenant building at the Austintown Plaza has sold for more than $2 million to a buyer based in New York, according to records from the Mahoning County Auditor.

The auditor’s data show that the building at 5880 Mahoning Ave. sold for $2,051,400 on Feb. 10.

The building fronts the Austintown Plaza complex and holds several tenants such as Sherwin-Williams, a Super Cuts hair salon and Valley Tobacco.

5880 Mahoning LLC, based in Mineola, N.Y., on Long Island, purchased the property from Austintown Plaza Ltd., records show.

The Ohio secretary of state lists Eshagh Malekan as the authorized representative of the company, which was incorporated Dec. 28, 2021.
