TRANSFER, Pa. – DJ’s Greenhouse last year added to its list of classes and now offers more than 30. Topics included vegetable and herb gardening, annuals, perennials, pruning, attracting butterflies and natural insect repellents, says owner Dennis James.
The classes were more popular than ever, he says. Among favorite subjects were fairy and succulent gardens and creating colorful pots for the landscape.
DJ’s hosted over 25 groups at its five acres of gardens in 2023, including gardening clubs, quilting and Red Hat groups, baby and bridal showers, birthday parties and business groups.
The business will open for the season on April 13.
