NEW CASTLE, Pa. – Stevens Masonry Construction Inc., based in New Castle, Pa., is now on its fourth generation as a family business.
The company was started after World War II by Edwin Stevens’ grandfather and mainly did residential jobs.
Stevens’ father and his uncle would take over the reins of the company and started doing more commercial work, including schools, churches and industrial buildings.
Stevens is joined by his wife, Jeananne, who is the company’s office manager. Their son, Dylan, joined the company about five years ago. Dylan represents the fourth generation.
The company’s business continues to evolve with jobs evenly split
among new construction and restoration.
