TAG Holiday Marketplace Returns Next Weekend

WARREN, Ohio — The Trumbull Art Gallery will hold it’s annual “Trees at the Gallery” marketplace beginning Saturday, November 12 and running through January 7, 2023.

The show, which began in 2020, features holiday displays and gifts created by local artists, including jewelry, art and holiday decor.

“We’re excited to bring this show back for a third year,” said Patty Cleary-Talstein, curator of the event. “Over 20 artists have designed nearly 30 holiday displays made from materials such as artificial greenery, wood, metal, wire, ceramic, or provided table-top displays.”

The event also includes a holiday tree raffle featuring a fully-decorated tree and handcrafted items from participating artists. The raffled drawing with take place December 17.

TAG will hold an open house with music and refreshments to coincide with Small Business Saturday, November 26, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and for the second year TAG will conduct the “Angels for Art Education” fundraising campaign, which raises money for children and adults who aren’t able to afford art classes.

Admission to “Trees at the Gallery” is free.

Hours of operation for TAG, located at 158 North Park Avenue in downtown Warren, are noon to 6 p.m. Thursdays, noon to 4 p.m. Fridays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
