Yesterday’s Marketing Trends Won’t Work Today
Marketing is evolving at a fast-pace. The tactics you relied on yesterday to get your customers, may not be enough today, says Rob Palowitz, president and CEO of Palo Creative in Youngstown.
In the Gameplan for Growth series, Palowitz shares how marketing is changing in 2019 and what you need to do to thrive and succeed.
“The way people buy today has changed dramatically,” he says. “Think about the last time you made a buying decision. Did you wait to hear about a particular product or service on the radio? Probably not.”
People today go online and do research, making a confident decision before contacting the seller. “That’s inbound marketing,” Palowitz says.
Inbound marketing is more likely to lead someone to the buyer’s journey, which is made up of three stages: awareness, consideration and decision.
Palowitz tells how the buyer’s journey works in this video and how to use inbound marketing to your advantage.
