Her career began in 2002, fresh out of Youngstown State University with a degree in psychology. Rising from Home Manager to COO in 2021, Kristie’s career trajectory exemplifies her unwavering dedication.
Kristie’s distinction doesn’t solely rest in her professional accolades; it’s rooted in her authentic compassion and innovative thinking. Her passion is to educate others about intellectual disabilities. This vision materialized in her new role as Community Engagement Director, where she champions inclusivity, orchestrates fundraisers and raises awareness. Her mission is to illuminate the incredible work that Gateways has done for over 50 years to enrich the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
