HUBBARD – Following a “tremendous 2022,” the team at Papa Canzonetta’s Peppers and Premium Spices looks forward to serving its new retail partners and expanding its online presence by adding new products, owner Jeff Canzonetta says.
The company, founded in 2020, has 10 employees and the brand is now featured in more than 60 retail locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
“This year, we plan to expand our brand and value by offering bread-and- butter jalapenos, hot pickles and hot pickled garlic,” Canzonetta says.
In 2022, Papa Canzonetta’s took the drop-shipping aspect of the business to new levels and partnered with Sunrise Inn, Robins Theatre and River Rock at the Amp to create cross-branded peppers. Orders are filled from the company’s distribution and storage center in Liberty Township.
“Our growth has been exponential, thanks to our sales and marketing team. We are in the midst of engaging in creating larger serving sizes for food distributors and we look forward to this being our focus in 2023,” Canzonetta says.
The team will focus on brand content via social media outlets to continue to spread the word that “tasting is believing,” he says.
