2 Ticks & The Dog Goes on Road For Traffic Technology Video

WARREN, Ohio – 2 Ticks & The Dog Productions wrapped up its 20th year in 2021 and responded to the challenging business environment by expanding its footprint beyond Ohio and Pennsylvania.

New production work through Lewis Eldred, a Westlake-based events and promotion agency, led to the making of a video documentary series about the engineering of traffic technology, says Jim Fogarty, president and creative director.

The video was produced by 2 Ticks in conjunction with several major auto manufacturers, the Texas Technical Institute and others. It was shot on location in Detroit, Texas and Germany, according to Fogarty.

On location in Texas are Jim Fogarty from 2 Ticks & The Dog, Richard Deering from Crash Avoidance Meters Partners, Hassan Charara and Srinivasa Sunkari, both from the Texas A&M Transportation Institute.

In 2021, 2 Ticks moved closer to finishing its boxing documentary, “Titletown,” about the unprecedented five world title holders who hail from Youngstown, he continues.

New clients in 2021 include King Brothers of Bristolville, which celebrated its 65th year in business. The agency also helped launch new rebranding initiatives and events for clients Coates Car Care and Varis Vein Institute.

2 Ticks’ podcast, The ProdCast, recently released its 75th episode and is ready to wrap a third season, Fogarty says. This year’s podcasts showcased award-winning authors, champion athletes, music recording artists, and community activists and influencers.

Also in 2021, 2 Ticks remodeled parts of its office in Warren. The company purchased new equipment, including a virtual reality camera that will be used to make fitness and music videos.
