EAST LIVERPOOL, Ohio – Renovatio’s Taproom & Restaurant overcame the obstacles of opening during the pandemic to become one of the region’s premier dining and nightlife destinations.
Located in a former bank building that got a $1.5 million facelift, the restaurant opened Feb. 1 at 200 E. Fifth St., in downtown East Liverpool. It employs 54.
“We’ve implemented several community programs like our Give Back Wednesdays, where we give 10% of a customer’s bill to a nonprofit,” says Randy Schneider, co-owner and founder. “We have given back over $20,000 to local schools, police, fire departments and nonprofits.”
Schneider also helped to create First Fridays on Fifth Street, an open-air night market with vendors, music and a beer truck from Numbers Brewing Co.
