BOARDMAN, Ohio – Brilliant Cleaning Service modified its approach to meet market conditions and the pandemic in 2021, and posted a 15% growth in sales.
“Our loyal clients and dedicated employees have all contributed to Brilliant Cleaning’s success,” says Theresa Viviano, owner and general manager. “We are fortunate to operate in the Mahoning Valley, where local businesses receive strong support and people band together to overcome crises.”
When COVID-19 caused staffing shortages, team members stepped up to ensure customers’ needs were met, according to Viviano.
Staff wages were increased by 30% in 2021, and holiday bonuses and paid-time-off were offered.
Also last year, Brilliant Cleaning purchased electrostatic disinfectant spraying equipment and commercial floor cleaning machines, Viviano says.
Other 2021 highlights include work at the DeBartolo Commons addition to Southern Park Mall and at college residential buildings in downtown Youngstown.
Brilliant Cleaning, founded in 2016, employs 35.
