AUSTINTOWN, Ohio – Serving an industry whose importance was heightened during the pandemic, Fyda Freightliner Youngstown experienced sharp growth in sales of new and used vehicles and also service in 2021.
In response, the Austintown dealership added ProFleet, an all-makes heavy duty truck parts aftermarket supplier. This allows Fyda to serve more than just Freightliner customers, according to Scott Williamson, sales manager.
The company also added five employees, bringing the total to 75.
Fyda expects its biggest challenge this year to be supply chain slowdowns, which will affect its ability to receive trucks and parts.
Construction is almost complete on a new facility to house Fyda’s dealership in Columbus, which is on Interstate 70 in Madison County, Williamson notes.
Fyda Freightliner Youngstown is on North Canfield-Niles Road at Interstate 80.
