WARREN, Ohio – Micro Doctor IT, Warren, experienced a banner year in 2021, highlighted by its expansion into the Cleveland market.
Micro Doctor is a managed service provider for businesses that outsource information technology services and technology support.
“With a new data center in Cleveland, Micro Doctor increased product offerings for cloud services, hosted servers and desktops, and Netsapien voice services. We’re no longer a reseller, but selling these services direct,” says Megan Augustine, marketing manager.
Throughout 2022, Micro Doctor plans to promote these new services in both the Warren-Youngstown and Cleveland markets, she says.
The company anticipates that businesses will place an added emphasis this year on technology services since many employees are still working remotely or on hybrid schedules.
“Our desktop products allow fast, precise and controlled remote access for work from home and work from anywhere solutions,” Augustine says.
Last year, the company received industry recognition for its premium managed services product. The product saves clients money by outsourcing the entire IT department or with supplemental support to in-house IT, Augustine says.
Despite challenges such as labor shortages, Micro Doctor added six employees in 2021 and is looking to fill several open positions, she says.
The company also plans to emphasize its expertise in cybersecurity. Micro Doctor’s cybersecurity services meet numerous regulatory standards, Augustine says.
The company provides Microsoft 365 and ransomware protection, multifactor authentication, phishing protection and training, and Google cloud backups.
Last year, Micro Doctor added more certifications for technical expertise, according to Augustine. Among them are Microsoft Silver Partner, Google Partner, Datto Platinum Certification and SonicWALL Silver Partner status.
