BOARDMAN — As an essential business, Boardman Printing remained open throughout the pandemic, selling banners, signs and shirts.
Sales of wedding invitations, which account for over half of annual revenue, were impacted the most in 2020. “The ‘Save the Date’ card quickly became the ‘Change of Plans’ card,” says manager, Cindy DelSignore.
As events were postponed and canceled, yard signs and banners became a way to add joy to drive-thru parties and showers. And Boardman Printing did its part to spread some love by giving away over 350 “Sign of Positivity” in April.
In December, the print shop ran a Facebook contest and gave away $100 gift cards from 10 local businesses.
With its full staff of 10 back in the office, Boardman Printing is seeing orders and inquiries trickle in for 2021 and 2022. Founded in 1986, the company is celebrating 35 years in business.
