DCW Goes Remote Before the Pandemic

BOARDMAN – DCW Group, a benefits consulting firm, grew by 14.5% in 2020.It also added a software support specialist and a senior account manager, says partner Bob Gearhart Sr.

A full year before the pandemic, according to Gearhart, DCW Group was set up to be a remote company with nine employees located in five states. This organizational structure meant that DCW Group was fully prepared to interact with its clients using the same technology, processes and procedures that its staffers had been using internally.

“Clients who were applying and receiving PPP loans needed to quantify benefit expenses both in the application and forgiveness phases,” says Gearhart.

DCW Group technology, in particular its Employee Navigator software, “quickly built reports to quantify this information with the click of a button, which was incredibly helpful for clients.”
