One Hot Cookie Bakes More Sales Online

BOARDMAN – Operational changes to cope with the challenges presented by COVID-19 will better position One Hot Cookie for growth this year, co-founder Bergen Giordani says.

Giordani, who launched One Hot Cookie in 2013 with her daughter, Morgen Chretien, says the specialty cookie shop quickly pivoted to an online sales model. The resulting spike in orders revealed cracks in internal systems, she says. This led the company to work with Palo Creative to update and enhance the online ordering process and increase the site’s bandwidth and speed.

A chat feature was added that experienced heavy traffic during the holidays, and back-end improvements were made to expedite shipping and delivery.
