Doing Better Business Enters Local Market

BOARDMAN – Doing Better Business, an office technology provider, entered the Mahoning Valley in 2020 when it acquired Pro Business Solutions in April.

The company, founded in 1973 as Word Processing Services Inc., has more than 13,000 customers in five states and is based in Altoona, Pa.

Many of its customers temporarily closed in 2020 because of the pandemic. Most of the school districts it serves switched to remote learning. Doing Better Business responded by adding products that facilitate working from home. New products enabled offices to safely reopen. These include body temperature and facial recognition scanners that work even on people who are wearing masks.

The company also offered a portfolio of document management solutions and tools. It will soon offer online ordering of Hewlett-Packard products that include service and supply agreements.
