ALLIANCE — In early 2020, First Choice Electrical Solutions worked to secure new customers and projects. The electrical contractor also applied to participate in a scale-up program that would instill a new growth mindset in its employees.
The NEO Scalerator Program is an intensive six-month workshop that focuses on the intangible components necessary to rapidly increase revenue.
“When we were accepted into the program, we were unaware of how timely the information would become,” says CEO Mike Oakes. “And when the Scalerator program went virtual, we discovered the new format would allow us to incorporate a larger number of our team in the program. We were able to develop new relationships and learn from world-class instructors.”
As a result, First Choice Electrical Solutions recently secured a new project that matches 28% of its 2020 revenue, Oakes says, and will enable the company to increase its staff by 20%.
