BOARDMAN — Since purchasing a new building on Southern Boulevard, business has increased 40% at DEL Lift Rentals & Sales.
DEL added two employees in 2020, bringing the total number employed to 11.
The business also expanded its selection of reconditioned forklifts and renovated its new building, which will house all the equipment.
“This new building will now allow customers to stop in and look around at all the equipment available for both rent and sale,” says owner Carl Stitzel.
The company experienced 43% growth in revenue from 2019, he says, and is anticipating continued growth throughout this year.
Last February and March, when most businesses were working from home and experiencing a much slower pace, DEL was in full swing.
“There was still a huge demand for scissor lifts and boom lifts that customers were renting in advance,” says B.J. Nerone, rental and sales manager.
In November, Stitzel and his family donated more than 120 turkeys to the Springfield Food Pantry and the Warren Family Mission.
In December, DEL collected funds for the Springfield Food Pantry to help it expand its services to the community.
