KINSMAN, Ohio – The patio and expanded outdoor dining area at The Peter Allen Inn and Event Center helped the restaurant increase its business over the previous year.
The Kinsman restaurant saw an increase in its private event bookings prior to the pandemic, says general manager Katherine Carter-Dodd, and was on track for a record year. With many of those events postponed to 2021 and expansions on the way, this year is shaping up to be record-breaking.
“We’ve broken ground on our new event center kitchen, restrooms and bridal lounge area which will be completed by May 1,” she says. “Along with this new structure the Inn will be offering a new pop-up barbecue restaurant that will operate during the weekdays and when the event center is not in use for weddings and private events.”
Also on the slate for 2021 are car shows, family movie nights, a clambake and “Brews and Q Under the Starts.”
