YOUNGSTOWN – For electrical engineering firm Jaminet Engineering, 2020 was another opportunity for the team to do what engineers are known for doing best – problem-solve.
“Our entire staff has worked as a team to meet the challenges of the pandemic through flexible working hours, remote work schedules and efficient processes,” says owner Phillip Jaminet.
As the electric vehicle market continues to grow, Jaminet Engineering is expanding its services into more parts of the country. The firm holds professional engineering licenses in 17 states with more on the horizon.
“We see a lot of opportunity in the electric vehicle market and expect it to ramp up in 2021,” Jaminet says. “We are forming new partnerships in the manufacturing sector and look forward to what this new year will bring.”
The firm, founded in 2006, added a new office manager, Angelique McKowan, to the team in December 2020.
