YOUNGSTOWN – Neil Kennedy Recovery Center will mark its 75th anniversary this year. The addiction treatment agency will also resume detox services this year at its Rush Boulevard campus, says Carolyn Givens, executive director.
The center is currently planning and raising funds to upgrade the Zen Garden and build a new wing, both at the Youngstown campus, with a goal of completing both projects this year.
Neil Kennedy has a staff of 71. It provides care to 16 patients in the main building, which is dedicated to detox and residential services. Another 44 patients reside in the NKRC sober houses.
