CANFIELD — Sky Roofing’s marketing dynamics switched from predominantly commercial contracting to a 50/50 commercial-residential split in 2020.
Staff adjusted to the unforeseen production scenario and maintained revenues during the third and fourth quarters while upper management focused on 2021, its 20th year in business.
Founded in 2001, Sky Roofing is the authorized installer for Carlisle, CertainTeed, DMI, Firestone, GAF, Garland, Johns Mansfield, Owens Corning and Versico products.
Sky Roofing furloughed several employees and closed offices to prevent unforeseen losses. It secured the first round of PPP loans, enabling employees to return to work. Upon returning, employees’ families produced facemasks for other employees and their families.
“We owe it to the efforts of our strong, dedicated workforce that Sky Roofing was able to maintain the standards and quality our customers have become accustomed to throughout the years,” says Jean Estephan, Sky Roofing chief financial officer.
