COLUMBIANA – Even with the backdrop of the global pandemic, Ohio Flame Inc. thrived with its Made In America initiative.
Ohio Flame makes fire pits. The company increased revenue through online sales nationwide, says its president and CEO, Matt Skillman.
The company, in its ninth year of operation, sells its American made products through its website as well as through other online retailers.
“We experienced a remarkable online sales boom beginning in the second quarter [of 2020],” Skillman says. “We’re seeing shifts in consumer buying trends with many people choosing to buy home goods online.”
Ohio Flame plans to achieve growth within the online market “by way of warehousing and inventory programs with several large online retailers,” he says. “The online consumer expects their orders to ship quickly. Maximizing efficiencies through strategic warehousing and inventory programs helps keep our customer base satisfied.”
